I am a labor support birth doula. I come to the hospital with you and your partner and help you when you are in labor. I can also come to your home and help you settle in for a home birth with your midwife. I provide gentle, soulful, continuous support that includes massage, help finding good physical positions to optimize labor efficiency, emotional support, assistance with initial breastfeeding, and referrals for other help if you need it. As a doula I do not provide any medical care nor deliver your baby, but I accompany you and your family every step of the way.
