Bio
Alison has decades of experience working with mothers, new parents and
babies. The first birth that she attended was when her own sister was
born at home. Alison has had an interest in midwifery and birth since age
ten. Formerly the Bronx Lebanon’s Family Practice Clinics’ lead
Childbirth Educator, Alison originally got her start in women’s and
LGBTQ health as a peer sexuality educator fifteen years ago. She believes
that the best way to advocate for the birthing mother is support them in
advocating for themselves.
